About Gutter Jet

The business

Gutter Jet Is Matt — and That's the Point

When you ring Gutter Jet, you speak to the person who will be stood outside your house doing the work. There's no office, no call handler and nobody quoting a job they'll never see.

Gutter Jet is a small, local exterior cleaning business working across Hull and the surrounding East Riding. It started with gutters — clearing the blocked runs that cause damp walls and rotten fascias — and grew as customers asked whether the drive, the patio, the windows or the solar panels could be done while the gear was out.

That's still how it works. Gutters are the main job, and everything else is there because people wanted one reliable person to look after the outside of the house rather than chasing four different trades.

How the work gets done

Gutters are cleared from the ground with a high-reach vacuum on a telescopic pole. It's cleaner and safer than a ladder, it doesn't mark your fascias, and it means awkward runs over conservatories and extensions can be reached without scaffolding.

While the pole is up, the joints and brackets get a look over. If something needs repairing you'll be told, and if it doesn't, you'll be told that too — several of our Google reviews mention exactly that.

Straight answers, fixed prices

Every job is quoted as a fixed price before any work starts. Not an hourly rate, not a “from” price, and not a number that grows once the van is on the drive. If what's needed changes, you hear about it first.

Local, and staying that way

Everything within reach of Hull — the city itself plus Anlaby, Willerby, Kirk Ella, Hessle, Cottingham, Beverley, Hedon, Brough and the villages between them. Staying local is deliberate: it keeps travel costs out of your price and means coming back to sort something isn't a half-day round trip.
